| Shillong Chamber Choir performing at KBC 8 |
Shillong Chamber Choir mesmerizes the audience with their soulful performance as they sing a medley of evergreen songs of Bollywood followed by a patriotic song at the opening ceremony of KBC 8 which was aired on Sony TV on August 17 at 8:30 p.m. The ceremony was held LIVE at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention. The highlight of the show was the interaction between Amitabh Bachchan and the choir bringing about national integration through music. The choir sang ‘Vande Mataram’, a song written & composed by Neil Nongkynrih, as a concluding act.
