Jajai Singsit from Manipur is making waves on Youtube, thanks to his baritone voice which resembles Jim Reeves | #OKMusic

His videos are getting millions of views. He sings covers of American music legends like Jim Reeves, Don Williams and Conway Twitty. Jajai Singjit from Imphal, Manipur, is the new sensation in the music industry of North-East India. Jajai has been performing live at numerous shows, mostly pairing with the female vocalist of Manipur, Christina Shakum. With his baritone voice, Jajai is now considered to be one of the few musicians in the world who can sing with a voice which lies between the bass and the tenor.

Born in 1993 in the small town of Lanzing, Manipur in North-East India, Jajai had to quit school when he was 14 and started working in a garage to support his family. His father is an Ex CRPF, mother a homemaker and has three little sisters who are still studying.
