Powered by OK! North East and an initiative of The Open Window Forum and Anubhuti Gosthi, Uttaran is an experience specially designed for people looking to escape into the woods and farmlands away from the noisy buzz of the daily routine. Uttaran is a two days camp on yoga and life skills training. By joining the camp, one can get the taste of a various unexplored regions of North-east India with interesting histories, geography, landscape, ethnicity, culture and endless stories.

The prime focus of the camp is to understand the harmony between nature and self, using music, yoga and certain life skills based education to detoxify self with all negativity and thereby say hello to a new beginning with new thoughts and positive perspective towards life and self.

No walls to confine learning, no boards to restrict imagination, no time table to hinder creativity...! Just the endless horizons of nature, serenity, peace and an opportunity to be with oneself and understand and visualize life and its complexities from a more composed lens....!

GROUP

We take along with us a maximum number of 25 people (both male and female). Children not allowed.

WHAT DOES UTTARAN OFFER?

Uttaran offers you a platter of a campsite stay amidst nature with an unbelievable off-road drive experience amidst the hills and the rocks, with a series of activities which includes:

AIM / FOCUS

The prime focus of the camp is to understand the harmony between nature and self, using music, yoga and certain life skills based education to detoxify self with all negativity and thereby say hello to a new beginning with new thoughts and positive perspective towards life and self.

Uttaran as an initiative focuses on certain pivotal aspects as prime objectives:

✏️ An attempt to understand the harmony between nature and ‘self’
✏️ Also to understand the essence and meaning of Life Skills and their significance in our daily lives.
✏️ Introducing creativity, critical thinking and music to indulge in community work with the local communities
✏️ Using Music, Yoga, Meditation, Drinking Water, etc as techniques to detoxify the stress from both our physical and mental beings, thereby adopting a positive mental and physical health.
✏️ Saying ‘NO’ to any form of substance during the days of workshop
✏️ To explore the underlying natural charisma of various enchanted and unexplored areas of northeast.

At Uttaran, the participants also tried to have introspection and address certain curious questions like
