Nimesh Subba, a.k.a Amig, hails from Darjeeling, although he had spent few years of his childhood in Sikkim, a state in North-East India. He has been singing from the age of 10 and now he is creating waves with his covers of various movie songs, as well as originals in the social media.
During his school days in Sikkim, he used to participate in various competitions. Due to different reasons, he could not learn music professionally, but joined a choir group at a church in Sikkim where he got his initial vocal training. With his dedication towards music, he started singing professionally and later concentrated on music composing and arranging. He has been working as a sound recordist in a recording studio in Siliguri for few years now. Amig has quite a lot of followers. He has released few Nepali language songs on YouTube too.
