Have you seen the new Art-Bridge in Guwahati? Artist Neelim Mahanta along with his team of 20 artists are working day & night to put colours in the otherwise deserted walls of the newly built 1.2 km long overbridge in Super Market, Assam. The bridge will be inaugurated during Deepavali.
Artists involved in the project are:
Neelim Mahanta, Angsuman, Narayan Neog, Nakul, Mino Patir, Debjani Hazarika, Nibid Borah, Miftahul Rahman, Queen Talukdar, Bhaswati Borah, Srishti Sinha, Akashneel Mahanta, Niranjan Nayak, Samiran SK, Chiranjit D Bhowmick, Tez Gogoi, Samujjal Saikia, Jyotirmoy Debnath, Geetanjali Bayan, Poojashree and many more. This is the first time an Assamese contractor got the opportunity to construct this mega structure.
